holiday zone conferences
The couples and Sister Tew provided a wonderful holiday meal at zone conferences complete with turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, potatoes, gravy, pumpkin cake, pomegranates and a salad that had to be eaten before moving to the main course. Lots of work but wonderful food. We were instructed in better use of Preach My Gospel, Area Book Planner, Light the World Christmas campaign, and utilizing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in every lesson. We also were blessed to hear some fabulous Christmas music from our talented missionaries.
West zone conference gathered missionaries from Ã…lesund to Arendal to Stavanger. This zone is currently the youngest zone in the country, loaded with missionaries who have been here less than two transfers.
South zone conference brings in missionaries from north of the Arctic Circle, and Drammen to Skien.
The Oslo Stake zone the largest zone and has nearly as many sisters as elders. This photo includes four prospective missionaries who joined us to experience a zone conference before there missions.
The Glissmeyers and Morris's manned the kitchen in Stavanger. We are so grateful for the support of our wonderful couples.
The Peterson's and the Wersland's took care of us in Drammen and the Jackson's and Wersland's (no photo, sorry) handled food in Oslo.
Zone conferences complete. We are are deeply grateful for the leadership in the mission, including the assistants Elder Dansie and Elder Holyoak.
