We have had an unusually warm Christmas season even though we have had two snowstorms in December. Warm weather melted all the snow within days. On New Years Eve, we rode our bikes on dry roads to stock up on food for a few days on a sunny afternoon with 38 degrees Fahrenheit. That was down from the 49 degrees the day before.
This photo was taken earlier in the week 30 miles north of Oslo in Lillestrøm where I needed to deliver a FedEx package to the only FedEx office in the area. Oslo receives ocean currents making it much warmer than inland.
